The Xbox Series X had its latest showcase today. Coming off of the recent strong reveal for PS5, people seem more mixed on the next gen Xbox console. Was today’s event a fail?

    it would actually be quite logical, since Microsoft knows the XBOX name isn't as hype-worthy, so getting a smash reveal would make even more people go to their direct reveal.

    That everwild game looks sick! Also since infinite is on game pass I'm guessing it will be one of if not the most popular shooter on Xbox/Pc

    these exclusives don't really compare to sonys in my opinion but with all the other benefits you get with xbox i thn its the console to go for the main problem for me is halo i dont realy like the idea of it being an open world game with quests i could be really great but i would much rather prefer a conventional arcade shooter

    When the stream was ending, I saw a lot of ponies get mad that their PS5 is better, why are you mad if your PS5 is better in your opinion lmao, I can't wait to see Ponies get mad again with the Xbox August event.

    I'll be hanging on to my One X for a year or 2, however if I was having to make a decision today from the little we have seen, I would be purchasing a PS5. I've seen nothing from Xbox yet, if anything, I'm less pumped for the Series X after this event.

    It did the same things Playstation did, little gameplay and a bunch of trailers. Personally I liked a lot of the stuff shown. Halo Infinite, Grounded, Fable, Tetris Connected, State of Decay 3, Forza, The Medium, Avowed, and Everwild. Just to name a few.

    I don’t know why Microsoft bother with these Games showcases, Am I wrong but how many people were expecting to see gameplay from upcoming games that perfectly highlights the performance of the Series X. I was all for Xbox in the original days and 360 but these days there once again is absolutely no selling point to Xbox even with Games Pass because everything is just on PC as well, that’s not special. PlayStation has games only on PlayStation, Microsoft can’t really say only on Xbox anymore when eventually it’s just on PC as well. All worlds most powerful console sounds silly after this showing especially Halo Infinite which wasn’t even running on a series X. Wtf was that ? Damage Control ?

    I don't see anything wrong with the statement "I don't need a xbox if I have a PC". It just means that you don't need to buy the xbox console to experience xbox games. And that the xbox is certainly NOT the "best place to play". Thats all. There is no indication that Gamepass is a bad thing whatsoever in that statement.

    2.I don't see those "12 Tflops" on the games running on a "Xbox series x"

    I like the games coming for the xbox. It just seems they are far out from releasing. I'm still getting the x cause I like how all 3rd party games will look and run best on Microsoft's console.

    I like how so many people are bitching about how Xbox isn't making a good case that you HAVE to buy their new console. Microsoft and Xbox have made it very clear that they do not want to make you feel pressured to buy a next generation Xbox, they want you to be able to experience your games however you want, on any platform you want. That's why XCloud exists. Xbox is doing their best to make themselves the most consumer friendly game company out there. The only company trying to make it a dick measuring competition is Playstation. Trying to compensate for something? I don't know.

    i have been using the game pass… wont renew. every windows update, the games need to be downloaded again, there's no option to play offline;
