hot take: apple vs android is as dumb of an argument as xbox vs playstation
*fewer features – number of features, not intensity or degree.
I only switched to Android because it was cheaper than iPhone.
Several apps don’t work as they should on my OP 6 and the Gboard mixes up languages as I type sometimes but at least I saved on some money, my screen doesn’t crack when I drop my phone and battery life is better as well as charging time. It’s also nice that I have YouTube vanced and Firefox with Ublock but if iPhone were cheaper I don’t think I’d ever make the switch.
Not a huge tech buff, but I switched to iPhone years ago and I gotta say that they are way more stable than the androids I had before.
I went to Android because my phone is gonna stay technologically relevant for a longer time. Im not a teenager anymore so i dont go through phones very much and i take care of them pretty well(maybe 1 every 3 to 4 years) and before, that was okay with apple phone but now its like if you dont buy an iphone every year or 2 your old one is gonna get super slow or devs will be forced to build apps on a platform that your phone doesnt support. Also you cant beat the storage on an Android. Iphone prices goes up a couple hundred dollars every 16gb and here i am sitting with 128gb and an SD slot for expansion.
Anyone who judges someone based on the brand of phone they use is a fucking loser.
I’ve used both. I prefer iPhone. Some people prefer Android. I couldn’t give 2 shits what they prefer. I’m not too concerned about their preferred brand of coffee, TV, toothpaste, or car either.
Why do people make it like a rivalry?
Did you ever stop to consider some people purely have IPhones because they’re easy to use and maybe not everyone is elitist about it?
The security is only as trash as the manufacturers are.
Are iPhones really more expensive than equivalent android models?
