Teachers that refuse to work should be let go starve.
Doesn’t the fact that you shared it make the “thought I’d share” part totally redundant?
I hope she’s not one of those teachers who doesn’t want to go back to class.
Maybe she can teach you how to read rule #2
This is so misleading, what do teachers actually teach now. That pic is cursive, most schools don’t teach that anymore. Teaching is not near what it used to be.
Damn I thought they stopped teaching script. Least in my school system

Imagine having to go to school as an 8y.o.
And Cooties was real!!
My wife is a teacher and they got an email from the superintendent that told them to update their will.

yeah, teachers will have no such protection.
Their kids are just gonna get them sick.
Honestly, I’d feel more comfortable going back in my classroom wearing that. My employer is saying that masks are optional. How the fuck am I supposed to feel safe there? I guess my parents can never visit their grandchildren (due to ongoing issues with cancer) since we’ll be a high risk household. I’m thinking I’ll last a week before having a breakdown and going off on stress leave.
The Darth Vader voice would be cool. Haha.
Hang in there teachers!
The fact they’re sending kids to school is mind bogglingly.
Yes. Let’s send a bunch of little unhygienic monsters into a enclosed space in the middle of a plague and then send them home after they’ve passed their germs to each other.
Yea that’s real logical America. Let’s keep spreading it around.
I’m so pissed. My wife is a teacher, and we’ve been so careful for months! Now she’s expected to just show up in a room full of germ factories and “oh well” if she gets sick. I tried getting her to take a year off and she won’t because she’s afraid of not getting re-hired down the road.
The sad thing is, my wife and I have discussed something along these lines. She’s a music teacher so she sees all 600+ students within one week, far more exposure, in a tiny room with no windows and an average class size of 30.
The insane thing is the belief that this can be done with safe logistics. The battle is lost before the students step in the door. Transportation still means students will be sitting directly next to each other on the buses on the way to school. Social distancing just isn’t possible, that is not an opinion, that is fact. There sincerely isn’t enough room in any classroom for 30 students in my wife’s entire school for students to maintain recommended social distance. This is true to the point where the district just gave up and said try and keep the students at least 3 feet apart **where possible**.
This is in a well off district in PA.
Mark my words, schools will be shutdown within 4 weeks when the inevitable occurs. I just pray my wife isn’t a part of the statistics that convinces people we need to close.
They don’t teach cursive any longer…
This is from a great movie called Arrival.
