    You can turn it off by going to setting>your account settings>notifications>de-select trending

    You can turn it off, just go to user settings, then notifications.
    You will find it there, you can also turn the broadcasts off.

    Reddit needs a minimal notification option that only pings you for things that matter, no one cares what’s trending on subs you haven’t been on since you were forced to pick 10 when signing up
