Traditionally, Comic Con is the event where news and upcoming installments of our favorite genre franchises are announced. This year of course, Comic Con is something of a shadow of its former self, and nowhere was that more apparent than in the Star Trek panel; a panel which stood out from most others in being pre-recorded, poorly edited and struck down by CBS itself.
In this editorial then, @AndreEinherjar will go through everything the powers that be announced at the 2020 Star Trek comic con panel, compare it with our previous reporting, and everything we’ve learned since, to provide a Star Trek state of the union of sorts – one decade since the big screen relaunch under Bad Robot, and three years since the streaming relaunch under Secret Hideout.
