    The Corvette is a car that takes talent to drive fast when you turn traction off. Some of these guys are just terrible drivers. All that power at the rear wheels will throw you sideways quickly.

    Ouch, that first one was at Carolina Motorsport Part. That bump in the right-turn kink has tripped up a lot of drivers before and totaled just as many.

    I have 2003 Z06 and I keep  mine in competitive mode, when racing or doing burnouts. I turned active handling completely off only one time and me and that car was dancing on the road. If you are not a professional driver or you don't know the car limits, have fun the safe way use competitive mode until you gain experience with the car.

    When you compare Corvette crash videos to Mustang crash videos, Corvettes usually crash due to lack of skill on the part of the driver, there's no clear pattern. Mustangs crash despite the skill of the driver, and you see the same pattern again and again. The back end steps out, when you correct, the car snaps the other way and veers off the road.
