Ok idiots, let me explain. The mask keeps *you* from spitting germs all over the enviroment. Only a respirator filters the air. Get over it.

Masks don’t won’t when one person wears them. They actually put you at risk, because particles landing on the mask continue to be breathed in. When two people wear them, the particles can’t land on the mask. But whatever, fuck you karen.

No if my car had a protection that avoids me from having accident. I wouldn’t care if you had it or not.

What people don’t seem to understand is that masks aren’t for the users protection as much as they’re for everyone around the user. So if I refused to wear a mask but everyone around me wore one, I’d actually be relatively safe but I’d be putting everyone around me in danger.

Not the same for one, fatality rate of dui car accident is much higher, secondly this implies the non wearer is knowingly carrying the virus and still refusing to wear a mask in public. I know, critical thinking is hard.

Mask works better for not spreading an infection when the wearer is the infected one. It’s much less effective at protecting the wearer from infection around him/her

Imagine if your answer to the question “would you wear a mask to help prevent deaths and chronic illnesses to other people” were to be No.
What kind of psycho would you need to be to have so little compassion with the people around you.

This just shows again that most of those people don’t even get the idea of how the mask works: it reduces the amount and range of infectious particles when people sneeze or cough into it. It’s not to protect the wearer, but the people around him. This is completely backwards.
